Kelly Tripp

meet Kelly

Kelly’s intention in the yoga room is to guide people towards experiencing connection to their true self. The practice of yoga helped Kelly transform her mind and body during a challenging time in her life. She believes connecting the mind, body and soul through a physical practice is transformational and her teachings focus on guiding practitioners towards this experience.

In 2011 Kelly began her first teacher training with evolation and received her 200 hour Vinyasa Flow Yoga certification. In 2015 she completed another 200 hour Teacher Training Program with East Meets West Yoga in Buffalo, NY. In 2011 Kelly designed and implemented a program to bring yoga to the workplace which continues to grow and thrive. In addition to teaching corporate yoga, and multiple studio classes at evolation’s Buffalo location, she offers Yoga for Athletes sessions to local Colleges and High Schools. The focus in these sessions is tailored to the needs of the athletes and includes injury prevention education. Most recently Kelly joined the evolation Teacher Training Staff and continues to work as a local teacher trainer.

Kelly’s Vinyasa classes encourage mindful movement, are well-rounded and set to music, and often evolve organically giving thought to intelligent sequencing. She teaches the kind of class that she enjoys to take as she vibes off the energy of the students who show up in her classes. She says, “I hope all of my students feel that I am in it with them, supporting them, holding space for them every step of the way. When we take care of ourselves, we take care of each other and that is why the practice of yoga is so transformational and far reaching.” Kelly adds, “I have had so many wonderful teachers throughout my life and I believe my teaching style is greatly enhanced by those experiences, as well as my studies, personal practice, and my pure love of what I get to do each day as my job.”

“There is no passion to be found playing small – settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” – Nelson Mandela
