what have you done since we (evolation) last spoke?

I had a baby boy in May! I am just spending all of my time learning how to be a mom and loving every second of it.

what would you say to someone who has never tried yoga before?

Don’t worry, deciding to go to class, and actually showing up, are often the hardest parts. Just get your foot in the door. You can do it!

what is your main tip for new trainees starting their teacher training?

Do not compare yourself to other trainees/teachers. It is never a competition. You’re all exactly where you need to be, just open your mind and heart and the rest will fall into place. Oh, and study the asana essentials as much as you possibly can.

is there something about teaching that you didn’t at all expect beforehand?

I never expected the amount of responsibility you feel the second you step into the room to lead your first class. I also never expected that your students would end up being some of your best teachers. It’s awesome!

where would a cool place to do yoga be?

In light of recent events, I think it would be cool to do yoga in front of the Eiffel Tower. Spread the yoga love

evolation

Evolation yoga is devoted to helping you become more Self-centered – in an ego-free way. By combining the powerful physical properties of hot yoga with the awareness-enhancing effects of meditation, evolation’s aim is to make you healthier, happier, and more in touch with that elusive little thing called the Self.
