how many classes are you teaching now?
At the moment I teach a 60min class that I set up in an architecture practice.
Some of my past experience: I did several covers in London bridge HotYogaSociety and gave classes in HotYoga Montpellier, in my home town in France.
what have you been doing since we (evolation) last spoke?
Since I took the training, my life changed quite a bit. I left my job as a flight attendant to be able to ground myself (quite literally!) and create more space for yoga. After dedicating my time to try finding a permanent teaching position in a studio in London, I decided to set up my own weekly class and leaving space for my practice the rest of the week. Although I do want to teach regular classes in a hot studio one day, I am happy where I am right now and the expectation of a baby boy this summer brings me the peace to just be and enjoy this precious time.
have you thought about going back to another Evolation training?
I have thought about going back to the same 250h to strengthen my knowledge or on a retreat. Also, when and if I feel ready for it, I am interested in the kids yoga.
where would a cool place to do yoga be?
The simple act of doing and experiencing yoga is cool! I’d say surrounded by nature is exceptional!
I’m actually just remembering Esak Gracia doing a SHK on a coffee table, in the middle of traffic, that’s a pretty cool demonstration of active meditation!
what is your favourite style of yoga?
Bikram yoga is my favourite style of yoga.
After four years of practice I am continuously amazed at how the same 26 postures can be so therapeutic and change a person for the better. There is always so much to learn, about the asanas, about our own Self. It never gets boring!
what would you say to someone who has never tried yoga before?
Come with an open mind. Don’t make any assumption, be good to yourself and.. have fun!
