Aloha fellow yogis!
I just wanted to take a moment and share a little about myself and the importance of maintaining good training skills. This is my seventh evolation yoga teacher training, as a graduate. Why am I back? In short, evolation gave me a life I could never have Imagined was possible!
I attended my first evolation training in Florida 2014, followed by the 250 hr continued education in California. Thanks to this amazing team, I am living a beautiful life that I never knew existed. Evolation offers an experience like no other and creates what I call my yoga family. To this day I am still in touch with friends from my very 1st training, and have reunited with many others throughout the years.
For as long as I can remember it’s been my personal dream to visit Pearl Harbor. As soon as I heard about 6 months of trainings in Hawaii, I knew it was an opportunity to fulfill this dream. Now that I am here, I know this is one of the best locations to practice yoga. Surrounded with warm weather, tons of history, beautiful beaches and wonderful people.
There are many reasons I continue to show up at training. The community is so welcoming and filled with kindness. Making this a great time to stop, breathe and enjoy the change from daily life. However the main reason is that I am always learning something new about myself and yoga. I feel yoga is continuously evolving and there is always something more to learn. That is how I share the exciting, fresh new understanding of this timeless knowledge with everyone who is interested. It is also how I continue to grow as a person and check in with my inner self to keep my self love going strong.
I look back, and if I didn’t continue to come back to trainings, I feel I might get stuck in a routine that never grows. Each time I return home after a training I have a fresh glow, among healthier eating habits. This radiance intrigues students to learn even more. We all grow together and this knowledge is something I’m honored to pass along. Without this continued education, I would not be the person I am today. I would not lead a life of love or fully understand how much I can change. I am now In Hawaii receiving over 1,000 hours from evolations team, excited to learn more, and hoping you join me on this journey!
